One Thing I Will Miss

Is the ability to right click any .MID file in my Windows Explorer 'Performance Midis' Folder , then click 'Open with SONARPLT.EXE'.
Within seconds.......Sonar was open and ready to play the file............including all correct instrument definitions and esp.correct tempo ........without fail.
I could make any alterations I needed to make then save as a new Midi File.
The New Midi file would not be corrupted in any way including Lyrics.
It also played in correct GS format through my Roland SD50 sound module.

NOW............
I just don't know.
Its pathetic really....
I think I have exhausted the search for a DAW affording similar attributes.

Keep using Sonar for what you need. That's what I am doing.
