One last question

And then I will be ok with really getting into this myself.

I have everything in an audio track (doing everything in track view) I have all my clips in, fades done well enough to get this to my dad so he can at least hear approx what it will be like when complete.

Now.

What exactly do I do to get this recorded/saved/whatever it is called in this program and then off MC4 and ONTO a disc? At this point I do not want to do ANYTHING that might screw this up.

Thanks in advance.

    NOT. WORKING.

This SHOULD NOT be this difficult. *HEADDESK* I am not a stupid person.

Everything I try tells me I don't have permission or that there are errors and it cannot burn the track. What am I doing wrong?

I understand that it is better to do this here so that others can see the questions too, but I have a really hard time with this format. If someone could just please do this in an IM program with me where I could ask questions as I am going and get immediate answers, or hell, call me collect, I don't care.

    Help!

I saw you writing to me in the MT chat room, but I can't type anything there. Will check the help out.
Edit: It's been awhile since I was in a chat room and I was trying to get the cursor to appear in the field so I could type a hello. All the while it was flashing happily at the bottom, waiting for me to type something.

All you need to do is select File> export> audio...select the preset...WHAT YOU HEAR, give th efile a name and select a destination you can find easily...click OK and it is exported as a burnable wave file.
