One reason I need the coffee house
A couple days ago I started on a new instrumental piece and I just LOVE it. It's an orchestral that the orchestra guys will be able to pick apart, but I think it's pretty anyway.
So, when people say 'Hi! How's it going?' I can talk about whatever, but what I really want to talk about is how much I'm enjoying composing this new song and how beautiful it is.
But if I do they usually glance at me and say something like, 'oh really? Nice weather we're having, eh?'
But at least most of you guys around here 'get it.'

Well, we had our share of freezing weather. I wish it was over, but I imagine it's not. Thanks for the good wishes. I'd have more fun with it if I didn't have to keep interrupting it with work...but it will come. IF I can figure out where to go with the next part.  1:24 is a little short.

Yeah, quite a great crew around here!  Beag: Got the rinse part started last night. I hope I'll still like it tonight. We'll see. Repeat will come after that. Thanks for the great idea! :-) trimph: Someone told me they heard we're getting another blizzard in March. (supposed to be 70 here today!). How in the world can they know that this early? And is there any way to change their minds? And furthermore, can I move to Florida? Oh well... Colin, no it's not done yet. Gotta finish composing it. Then the mixing will take awhile. Personaly I'd have thought 1 hour 24 mins would be plenty long enough, maybe Beag is expecting it to shrink in the rinse/repeat cycle just like most of my sweaters.

I know that when it comes to shrinking I'm doing a pretty good job myself...after 5 months of walking 2 miles into Atwood ON and 2 miles back every day I've lost 23lbs...and that is with all the slogging through the snow...plus getting an ICD in me heart certainly has given me more energy...

I've been losing weight since November 1 and I have a feeling that I'll reach a pretty big milestone in my weight loss this week, but I don't want to announce it until it actually happens. Keep watching for it! but keep up the good work! 23 pounds just by walking is fantastic! do you carry a guitar with you or anything?
