Only 19....
One "end of the world" down.... and only 19 months to go until the next (predicted) one.....
Will that one flop too, or will the cosmic alignment be THE END... for real ?
I'm guessing...another flop is in the making.....

Have they taken into account the 11 days 'lost' to compensate for the change from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar?

Yet another things I've wondered about (except that "scholars can't seem to agree on either the number of days - 5 to 11 - or even what year it really is - they believe we could be as many as four years off). All I know is that if someone is trying to sell you an old coin with the date "412 BC" stamped on it, that it's probably a fake...

It is interesting how many times people have attempted to make a prediction.
The very first mention on that site and the one in green seems to be taking kingdom out of context to make it fit with the other bogus predictions. The kingdom in that passage is not speaking of the end of the world.

Actually, there was an article on Yahoo the other day that the Mayan End of times may be off from 50-200 years...

Don't bother. I was just there. There's nothing left but a "My family went to the Becan Ruins and all I got was this lousy T-shirt" shirt. It wasn't my size. Whoever had that four-man tent next to the van down by the river, thanks. I'll return the shirt tent when I get home.
