The 6/8 feel of this song distinguishes it from a lot of other songs in this style.  The  rawness of the vocal and the simple arrangement give this piece character and makes it somewhat unique.  I enjoyed the listen.

I love drums up in the mix but for this song, IMO, the drums are too present. drop the drum bus by 2db and bring up the music at least 1db if not 2.

Very different sound for me to listen to, but has a nice creative side to it. The drums are way up front on this, but maybe that is what you were going for. Vocals are in the right place but the drum is competing for space. Bass could come up a bit as well. Different but cool!

Bravo on the raw presence of all tracks! I like the drums hot like that. Maybe snare is a tad loud. Good job all around. I could hear an electric lead solo. Killer lyric.

Thanks to everyone! i could bring the drums down some. That snare really snaps. I should also do something about the siblance on the vocals, I think.

I really like this.  The gritty vocal works well, although there are some pitchy issues on one or two of the long notes that I'm sure a little melodyne/v-vocal/autotune could make quick work of.  The snare might be a little (tiny bit) too hot, but other than that I think the mix is great.  Love the string bass.  Kudos!

+1 on the snare, but it's not distracting to me.  I like your voice, it's genuine, there are some spots you might try to adjust, the longer notes where it's easy to go flat.  I dig the groove, soothing.
