Opened a project in safe mode, now unable to see controls in console view

I have an older project that had been working fine in X3 but suddenly wouldn't open. I discovered how to use safe mode and opened the project, disabling the plug-ins that most likely caused the problem. Now the project opens up fine each time, but console view is showing me the absolute minimum of controls and I'm wondering how to get them back. 
 
What I'm seeing is simply a fader and meter for each track, and they're all in "narrow" mode. Right-clicking and unchecking the "narrow strip" box then widens the track and reveals decibel numbers, but that's it; no pan controls, record controls, pro channel controls, effects, etc. 
 
What am I missing here? How can I get the full console view back? Thanks.
 
SOLVED: OK, you can see I'm not used the interface yet. I figured it out through the menus within console view. All is good.
