Opening the CLOUD Lounge to anyone interested!

Ok, should tomorrow's "maintenance" end up in Armageddon instead, I've got a new social forum area that I added to some others I'm working on for my new businesses (which a few here have tried out while I was getting out the kinks).  These are NOT product-focused, not moderated (except for spammers) and are meant for the "adult" crowd (whether they're acting as adults or not).  Yes, they are new and some areas have not been announced to their target markets yet, so it's very quiet there - now.  The goal is a place to talk about anything music related or not, post some songs/jams/collaborations if you want and, yes, there is even a place specifically for silliness.  They do not in any way replace the main forums here, but your post talking about Logic or Pro Tools won't be locked either (and there are no "off" topics).

You'll need to register to see the Music category forums since guests can only see my business-related forums.

So feel free to check out the CLOUD Lounge by clicking HERE!

Just give this to the bouncer at the door and tell him the secret password (which is "becan" naturally  ).

Remember, the forums are new so all feedback is appreciated!  The other main category (for people who buy every self-improvement product/course/program/book will be launched soon).

Enjoy!

Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Ah...  Forgot there was a registration question!  Grrr...

    The answer is "Yes"

I might need to make it something more generic.

Good luck Craig!!...I just launched a basic forum too.. Mostly to cover the show topics.

It takes a long time to build a community of any size. The thing is...people who are already loyal members of one forum don't always want to go anywhere else. I have one or two I like and this is one of them...now if you were to say...give away free T-shirts. Meebee :) :)...I think Baps is into that kind of thing :) ...err making shirts that is. Seriously if I had the time it looks interesting , but I don't at this point. Best of luck to you!!!

I'm hoping to not duplicate what a lot of others are doing, but offer a place where people can be themselves without being badgered that they are messing up some "serious" forum.  I also would love to go over bands in different genres since in the last couple of years I've found a lot of new (to me) artists that I had never heard of before that I like and I know there are probably others.  I don't intend to have discussions that go to Pedro's level of detail, but I would like to help categorize my music because I have so much it needs organizing!

I just finished moving my friend as well as moving my old storage unit to either the new house, the new storage unit or to the old house (where I have two piles for the dump or donation).  We started Friday night and I finally returned the truck Monday afternoon, then continued last night with cars.  Before the 15th I will do the final move from where I am now to the new place so I'm swamped.  Once this is all done, I'll put some effort into getting more people into the CLOUD Lounge (plus I have an entire other category of people to invite).

Man, I'm tired right now!  Moving sucks.
