Our friend Warren (evadianepug)

I wanted to let everyone here know that Warren will be undergoing surgery tomorrow - October 27th to correct arterial blockage to his heart. It looks as if he will be undergoing a quadruple heart bypass surgery. In the past few months Warren has become increasingly devoid of energy - a year ago he was able to vigerously exercise by hiking the trails in the hills around where he lives in Phoenix. He now isn't in a condition to be able to get out and enjoy himself the way he has in the past.

I spoke to Warren, he is feeling relatively good - strong and optomistic - he's in good spirits and is just very anxious to get this overwith and get back to living his normal life. Warren wanted me to tell everyone that he looks forward to getting back and contributing and collaborating with his good friends here.

So, your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. I'll get back to you as I get any updates.

Thanks.

Thanks for the word Mark. Those procedures are pretty standard these days, so here's hoping all goes well and Warren has a speedy and successful recovery.

Yeah... best wishes here for a speedy recovery.

The doctor's told us when they did a triple on my mom (at 80) that the operation should be good for another 20 years before it would possibly need to be re-done.   OK.....that works for me.  that was 15 years ago and she's still going strong.

Modern medicine is pretty cool stuff these days.

BTW: she lied to them and told them she was only 70 when she was admitted.......   The doc got mad at me when they found out the truth... I said..."hey, don't blame me, she's been lying to us all!"  They found out how old she was when they entered her info into the computer for medicare.

    Best Wishes Warren,

People I know that have had this procedure notice an immediate improvement in their overall energy level and feeling of well-being.  Pretty standard procedure these days.   To a speedy recovery.

Thanks for letting us know about Warren.  I have had a couple of friends that have had by-pass surgery and they are doing great now.  Please let Warren know that he is in my thoughts and prayers.  Oh ya, and please let our "forum buddy"  know that he has to get well quickly so that he can get back to participating on the forum.

Thanks Mark. Yeah the e-mails I got from him he was seeming pretty optimistic, although there are always going to be some nerves involved going through surgery.

Warren had agreed to do a collab with me & Mark before he found out about the surgery - after he knew he was needing surgery he was still adamant that he was going to lay down the vocal tracks. What a stud!! I'm working on the mix now and will have something soon - he still knocked it out of the park!!!!

Yea, I heard from Ruth earlier today - I've been out of town all day. Warren came through the surgery very well. The doctors say he doing as good as is possible - he's resting well in intensive care at this time.

I'm sure we'll see Warren back here very soon.

Thanks all for the thoughts and prayers.
