Out of Memory error on MP3 import or DnD

What is X1 protesting about when I try to import this MP3 file?  I searched and someone mentioned that it might be because the file is protected.  I checked the properties and that wasn't it.

I'm not dead in the water because I simply used Sound Forge (a handy Audio Editor) to convert the file to WMA and that imported fine.

I hit two files like that tonight and I wonder what the problem was in these particular MP3 files.

EDIT: I even tried stripping the Meta data out of the file.

Best thing I can suggest is sending the MP3 file to CW or some one here to test.

It could be the decoder Sonar is using.

Never had any problems with MP3s when Drag n Drop in track view. I did install CWs MP3 encoder though so not sure if that made a difference or not.

Ive drug from iTunes, WMP, and just folders that they are saved in

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Thanks.  This is probably the same issue. These are recently (last year) ripped CD tracks.  I'll investigate further when I get the chance.
