Hey Janet,

I have never had this issue with Melodynne before, but I learned some interesting things.  It was really helpful for you to list in your explanation to me that this line goes, "a,g,a,g correct".  Well what was interesting was when a note said that it was reading it as Ab and then I raised it to an A, it sounded all wrong.....but....the first A was being read as an A and sounded correct.  When I would raise the Ab manually, just so slightly, it would sound like the A, but still read as an Ab.  I am not sure why it was doing that this time, but it proves the old adage correct, you have to listen with your ears.  Somehow, Melodynne was just not reading the notes very well on this song and I have never had that issue with Melodynne before.

It still amazes me though that Melodynne sounds so normal when you make these kind of changes.  I never detect any kinds of phase issues or strangeness what so ever.  Herbs suggestion to click on the blob and then make small calculated changes by hand worked very well.

Great!  I'm glad that was a help.  I wanted to make sure I was aiming the same place you were, so writing the notes seemed like the best idea.  I'm glad Melodyne works without phase issues or strangeness.  I've had a few issues with it, but I haven't used it all that much.  Anyway, I'm glad that worked out well.  Ready for a new song now? :)
