OverTone DSP gone?
Sorry to report that it appears OverToneDSP, a plugin developer whose products included emulations of SSL, Pultec, and Fairchild gear, has vanished. Their website is blank, their KVR forum was moved to the "old" section, and nobody seems to know what happened. Very disappointing, as their stuff was high quality and priced in no-brainer territory. Anybody with any info, please post if you can. Cheers, Eddie

Oh no! They had one of the best PulTec emulations out there. I use their products all of the time. What a bummer!

I emailed them to find out what's going on but no response. The thread over at GS mentioned something about SSL but I'm not sure what that meant.

It's probably a one-man operation, so he may have suffered an illness or otherwise had to give up his business. Maybe someone in Oxfordshire should go knock on his door and see if he's alright:

It's odd that until recently, Mike was posting on forums and touting the success of his latest products. Simply disappearing seems like a strange way to go out of business, even if it was caused by illness.

I had emailed them to make sure they were okay and got this message "we've been experiencing some unexpected technical and operational issues which we are working to resolve. We hope to get everything back to normal as soon as possible." At least they're okay!
