Overflow

I finally worked out a bug in exporting my project, now I'd love to get some feedback on the song and the production before I add final touches and send it off.
Please follow the link in my signature and look for the song titled, "Overflow." Should be the top song. And if you choose to offer feedback, please don't hold back. Well, you don't have to be nasty or anything, but good honest, constructive feedback is desired. Thank you.

I really enjoyed listening to this song. Great inspirational tune! You asked about the mix, I think the vocals need to be turned down a little bit and the guitar needs to be turned up and add some mid range sound in the guitar sound. JMO. I'm no pro. plus my primary instrument is the guitar so I am always gonna revert back to the guitar sounds when I hear a guitar in a song, so don't take that comment as something offensive. Either way I thought the tune sounded great and was very inspirational!

    Keep on keepin on!

Thanks for the comments, Freeze1st. Funny you say that about the vocals, because I had them further back and my in-house critics, my wife and son, both said the vocals needed to be more upfront. Maybe I just overdid it. That's a very easy fix as I have every other track on a submix bus that I can adjust.
As far as the guitar, which one are you referring to? I've got four basic parts going on: Acoustic rhythm, Electric rhythm during chorus, and two electric leads.
Thanks again for the comments and for listening.

Mark, I think the vocals could be brought forward a little further, not louder but with a narrowed stereo width. The entire mix needs to be quite a bit hotter. Great song and lyrics.

Thanks, Tom. I'll have to experiment with the narrow width on the vox. I agree with the mix needing to be hotter. Thanks for listening and for the comments.

I agree with Tom. Other than that, the sound sounded great.

    Cheers

Thanks, Shad. I think you heard after I made some changes, which tells me more changes are needed. I'll be making some more alterations this weekend and will revisit the whole mix.
