Overheating fiber optic lines

I replaced my led drivers with a 50 megawatt pulsed ion cannon to drive longer line lengths.  Now the fiber is melting and the stray beam has sliced thru my studio walls, garage door and killed most of my trees.

Any advice?

    WOW!!

    How cool is that?

Just off the top of my head I'd say disguise the end of the cable in a button-hole in your jacket stand at the bottom of your drive and invite passers by to 'smell your flower'.

Hours of party type fun to be had with that.

Switch to glass fiber optic cables instead of plexiglass.  Some liquid nitrogen might be in order, too.
