FOUND IT!
Why put in a support ticket when you can get peer to peer help in real time?

Proably my fault, I do remember the installer asking about the pathway for the vst.
When I opened the fx bin and Overlound with the 8 modules were in it I figured it was "all good"!
NOT!
Vintage Keyboard FX-32.dll on my Win 7x32 machine.

Thanks for all your help!

Now all CW has to do is update the PC modules to work with X1d Expanded and all will be good with VKFX. That might require a support ticket (but I be someone at CW is watching this thread).

Breverb, TH2, and Console Emulation should work as well.
Its ridiculous.
I own X1 and X2, if its a PC module it should work!

Those are licensing issues. Rarely do bundled third party products work in prior versions of SONAR. One could argue the ProChannel is a special case but that would still have to be worked out with the vendor. The VKFX is different since it is not a bundled product. As I indicated earlier, the version lock appears to be an oversight.

Hey guys -

Overloud have fixed the issue with VKFX not properly loading in SONAR X1 Producer Expanded, and have uploaded updated installers.

You can re-download the installer if you're having this issue and it should be fixed.

Thanks,
- Brian

DeeringAmps - now that you've had it for a couple weeks are you feeling excited about this new bundle?

I've watched and heard the Neo Soul demo mentioned earlier in this thread and I'm very inclined based on that demo to get it. I'm interested to hear your feedback so far on how it sounds.

sharke - Thanks again for posting the link to the VKFX demo related to Neo Soul.

That set of demos and doing some further research on the VKFX put me over the top and I'm taking advantage today of the discount still available until the end of July.

I'm really going to like having this VKFX effects set in my Sonar setup.

Just a few words to say that I purchased the VKFX bundle and after my first tests, I'm very impressed by the results we can get : those effects can add life, movement, sparkle and enhancement(without agressivity) to any source. The preamp and the compressor confer a good analog thickness with simple and efficient options and I get quickly very satisfying things (however, I have famous plug-ins like Elysia Alpha comp, Vertigo comp...)

Just a heads up. You can still get the $99 deal. I just did this morning. Going install and authorize now!

(I said I didn't need anymore plugs when this deal was first announced.....)

It's all there. This is a really nice buy if you're so inclined.

You get the modules each as separate FX and as ProChannel modules, and you get one FX only choice, I guess it would be called the "rack" that has all of them stacked and includes the presets that are shown in the Neo Soul Keys demo higher up in this thread. If you haven't seen that demo and visited the link you haven't heard what the VKFX can really do.

I dig the effects and the presets are really quite nice. Since I use FX Chains in the ProChannel it's straightforward to add the VKFX rack as an FX to a ProChannel and get it all.

I'm satisfied with it for sure. Very pleased to have all of its possibilities in my bag of tricks.

After debating long and hard with my self I ended up just buying the delay module. And it's really, really cool! Makes me wonder if I should sit down and regret not buying the whole package but I'm also thinking that I'd really want something more interesting to be added to the PC compatible stuff, like Channel Tools or some crazy funny filters. And speaking of filters, anyone have anything interesting to say about the Wah module?

I, also, only purchased the delay, and agree it is really cool.  I am now wondering about the amp or the pre amp ones.

I bought the set and they are all really, really nice effects. The rack ties them all together very well and effectively. The only (small) gripe I have is that much of the value of having them as Prochannel modules is diminished because the rack isn't available in the Prochannel - so I normally end up inserting the rack into the Prochannel's Fx bin anyway - so for all that it could have just been a standard VST. But that is more than made up for in the versatility of having both versions available and not locked to SONAR exclusively. Absolutely stunning with Lounge Lizard and with synths as well as with guitar.
The demo is a full working 15 day demo from what I understand. I dove in without trialing it after reading some favorable reviews and don't regret it at all.

A very nice package.  delay is one of SONAR's weak spots - this one looks like a delay rather than the sonitus.  I haven't had a chance to do more than slap the thing on a few key tracks, but it sounds good.  And the rack is very ergonomic.

Sounds good, looks good and works well.
