Some of those files are old as dirt (1st generation). The easiest way is to add two controllers, the ACT and a Cakewalk Generic.... 1st add act and hit learn. Pull up the screen and click on each box then it's corresponding fader, knob or button. when you have done all 8 of each, deselect act learn. ... ... ... for the GENERIC SURFACE, call that page up and click PLAY, press the play button on the controller, then click learn. Do that step for each CONTROL play, rewind, forward, stop...etc. back out of that and everything should work fine. Don't bother with presets, I doubt any of them have been updated since Sonar 6 or 7. Oh yeah, you still have a 9th slider and button, go into console view and right click on the master fader, choose remote control, click on the button that say "controller" then slide your 9th fader, then click LEARN. that should get you started.
