Ozone 5? What and where
I keep reading about Ozone 5 and that it's included in X1d.
How do I explore this? IOW where and what is it?

Ozone, made by izotope, is described as a 'complete mastering solution in a single integrated plugin'. In other words, its a plug in multi effect which allows control over dynamics, EQ, reverb, amongst other things.
It doesn't come with X1D, but is worth checking out - there's a demo on the izotope site.

Could you possibly confuse this with Ozone plugs being included in Sony Sound Forge (although I'm not sure they are the exact same versions)?
Or Melodyne being integrated in Presonus Studio One?

Kalle, Do you know if Melodyne that is integrated in Studio One, is kinda 'Pro Channel' integration (that you cannot split out..) or if it's simply included with Melodyne's VST ?.. which can also be included in X1 vst scan folder if we like :) ? And .. would that be the current Melodyne version ?

It's integrated in Studio One with what Celemony and Studio One call ARA technology, which as I understand it is an alternative to VST. It can be invoked on a track by selecting from a track's audio options menu or using a key command. Melodyne Essentials is incorporated when you buy Studio One but if you've got the Editor version already (or later) it uses that.

While Melodyne Essential does use ARA technology made available within Studio One it still works as a VST in other hosts; it just doesn't have the same tight integration with SONAR but is still usable.

ARA is pretty cool... it opens the Melodyne interface as a docked window, similar to the PRV. Edit: It also keeps the Melodyne and track view windows in sync.
Perhaps what the OP is referring to are the Izotope algorithms for bouncing down AudioSnap clips.

Ozone 5 is worth a look, I've been messing with it for a week now. Nice plugin for Mastering. Lots of presets to get you started. ; )

The only thing from Izotope that ships with X1 is the Radius which does the pitch-shifting/time-stretching in the program.
