Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Slick production, but unfortunately not much meat there. For some reason I'm having a hard time justifying the purchase of this bundle, despite the great price and despite approaching it as a long-time Ozone fan.

Seriously? An upgrade to not just Ozone 6 Advanced, but O6A, Nectar Suite, Insight, Trash & 2 expansions, and Alloy 2 for $209 WITH a FREE upgrade to 7A, and there is something to struggle with? I don't get it myself...no struggle for me at all...only struggle I had was finding the cash...

yeah, I thought it was a no brainer myself, I already owned Ozone 6 Advanced, Alloy 2, Nectar 2 Production Suite and Insight, for a little over $200 and I get Upgrade to Ozone 7 Advanced, Trash 2 + 2 expansions, ( plus double up's of the rest), so basically got upgrade to Ozone 7 Advanced for $100, bargain, and I find Trash 2 and it's expansions to be pretty sweet and very usable, love it

I use presets as the place to start and I owned Nectar 2 Suite and Ozone 6. For me, it was a no brainer as well. I'm slowly gathering tools. I just found a good inexpensive easy to use program to deal with videos. It's called Filmora by Wondershare. Clip the front, clip the back, edit and share. I also own their video converter, altho Format Factory is pretty slick as well.

Seriously. Of course it's a great value at that price. But do I need it? I've already got an older version of Ozone, and Alloy. Plus gobs of EQs, limiters and compressors from the likes of FabFilter and Meldaproduction. I also have distortion covered pretty well. Next to Trash, Nectar is the least-interesting. I use very little processing on individual vocal tracks, usually just compression. I certainly don't want to put a separate reverb effect on each track. The chorus/flanger/phaser feature is probably nice, but hey, I've got Vallhalla UberMod. De-esser, got that covered in Alloy. Plus I plan to add Pro-DS to the roster eventually. So that leaves Insight, the only component in the bundle that really turns my crank. I am such a sucker for bouncing graphs. But if I'm going to be honest with myself, I already have all the metering tools I need. SPAN is 95% of it, but I've also got MMultiAnalyzer if I want to geek out. EBU's covered with the Tonebooster plugin, although I'm a Katz disciple and R128 measurements are just for curiosity. Adobe Audition gives me even more detailed analyses if I want them. As you can see, I've given this some thought. But I'm certainly open to any persuasive arguments, Larry.

I guess, for me, JUST the upgrade to Advanced at this price would have made me buy...
The better algorithms, the enhanced feature set, and Insight would have been quite sufficient for me...
All the rest were just "icing" on one of the best cakes I've ever tasted! YMMV

C'mon Larry, you can be more persuasive than that. You've done it before. Tell me Nectar's pitch tool is better than Melodyne. Tell me Trash does things Saturn can't do. Tell me that breaking out Ozone's limiter for individual tracks is a game-changer. Or that the multi-band compressor beats MDynamicEQ, that Insight helped you isolate some obtuse technical problem, that IIRC4 does something magical. Please!

Really this should sell itself...to me it's a complete no-brainer... I mean, just the ability to use the Modules individually as plugins is HUGE... Let alone being a superb Mastering Suite, and I don't see what the hesitation would be...and O7A will just add another level... Can you do everything this does already? Proabably. Will it do it as well...maybe...maybe not...and certainly not as "easily". To me, this was the best 2 Benjamins I've spent this year... Had I not bought anything else, I'd be content... Not Happy mind you...just content...

I use to Really want Insight, until I started using it. Yes, it has some nice features as an all-in-one metering plug but I personally get tired watching that Ozone GREEN color. You can do some other colors on the 3d spectrogram and you can use meter taps but it still doesn't do as much for me as I hoped it would. It is not an inexpensive plug either. This week I had some issues with a mix, that was not translating between different systems, and went to Insight first but no dice. I then used multiple instances of MMultiAnalyzer which got me closer but still, no dice. I finally used multiple instances of Span Plus and that showed me what I was not seeing with the others. Yes, I said Seeing because I was not able to Hear which instrument was the culprit in muddying the mix up between systems. Turned out to be 3 different instruments that just needed a few surgical EQ cuts. I thought it was funny that the older, less expensive, Span plus was the one that fixed the mix...
Purrrfect Audio DAW here. Wow!...
