I just bought the loyalty upgrade bundle from JRR. I got all the serial numbers except for Insight which is what I was mainly interested in. I'm assuming this was a mistake somewhere? It looks like Insight should be included right? This is a pretty good deal. Thanks Larry.

I never received a separate serial for Insight either as it is part of the Ozone Advanced package. While Insight is a separate DL and install it should still authorize if you have Ozone Advanced installed and authorized. Just checked my Izotope account and Insight does not even show up as a separate item because it is part of the Ozone Advanced package. Hope this helps.

Let's hope they don't kill it in Ozone 7 Advanced, like they did with the Ozone 5 reverb.

Check out this demonstration of the difference between a flanger and a phaser:
Although the video is excellent, what I actually came away with is that I'd really like to have Insight.

Insight won't be going anywhere...but if that got upgraded as well that would be nice! I don't know what they could do to it to make it better...but that's what I said about Pro C also...and we saw how that worked out...

But that may be what the ozone layer looks like (to Izotope).

Did you see this? O7 exports MP3. Why is this so cool? Because a) you can now store your MP3 metadata with your project, and b) you can audition the MP3 before you export it.
Preview what your masters sound like before you export Ozone 7 and Ozone 7 Advanced are coming soon. One of the many updates and improvements coming in both versions of Ozone 7 is the new Export Options. - Add rich metadata, including track name, band name, album name, and more.
- Export directly to a variety of popular compressed and uncompressed formats like MP3, AIF, WAV, and AAC.
Ozone 7 Advanced also includes the new Codec Preview. - Audition the sound of your encoded master (or just what the compression is removing!) in real-time.
- Make any needed adjustments before export to perfect the audio for streaming or for online music stores.

I really like that. The ability to listen to codecs before you commit. Everything goes to 128 mp3 on soundcloud anyways. I'm sure Itunes aac probably sound much better in comparison. I'm still on the fence with insight. I basically have all the mastering tools I need. I wish they offered insight as a separate program at a much lower price...but I'm whining. O7 is great software and this is a killer deal, even if it means getting a different version of something you already have. O4 is still very capable to master. Maybe I'm getting old..I've always jumped on the wagon because the next product seemed better. The whole system is geared towards upgrading...software is never static but is it better? In a year or two they'll need to offer you something else or they go hungry...just sayin'. Can't blame any of them and IMHO most all of the upgrades are improvements...almost.If you can afford it and have an older version I don't think you can go wrong here. If you can't and what you had before worked, that hasn't changed.

Starise Everything goes to 128 mp3 on soundcloud anyways. True, but a few of us have proven if you send a 24/44.1 WAV file to Souncloud the encoding is better than sending a 320kbps mp3. At least that's true to my ears.

rtucker55 It said that edge & textures were included in the installer, did you have to do something different to get them?
Yes..they are not...
You have to go here https://www.izotope.com/e...nt/trash-2-expansions/
Thanks Larry. I could not figure out where the expansion downloads were. I looked and looked, but remembered that you had posted about it in this thread; so I hunted this post down and got the expansions downloaded and authorized. Very helpful post.

There is still some misinformation on the Loyalty upgrade. According to JRR Shop, it is Ozone Advanced 6, Nectar 2 Suite, Trash2Texture,Trash2, Alloy2,Nectar2Suite, and Trash2EDGE.. There is no mention of RX, Iris, or Insight. So, in my case, I had Nectar 2 Suite and Ozone 6 standard to qualify.. Still worthwhile ,but I would have loved to get RX... or trade in Trash or Alloy for it!!!! Now there's an "dog" that won't hunt!

I got to see Ozone 7 in a webinar tonight. It looks Killer Diller but some of the modules may need to be used judiciously unless you are running a high end PC. They have added modules including a vintage tape sim. It was exciting to see and hear the lead developer and Jonathan Wyner discuss both Ozone 7 and Mastering. One of the really cool things was that now you can audition your track using MP3 and AAC codecs at different bit rates prior to export. You can also SOLO the artifacts to hear what you are actually losing from your .WAV file and amount of distortion added at different bit rates... Looks like we may see the release around Nov 3rd. Can't wait!
Purrrfect Audio DAW here. Wow!...
