Yes, I have.
A little update:
the MS Essentials update is v 1.259.1155.0 created 1/3/2018 at 2:17pm
Ozone 8 and Neutron were installed on 12-20-17, so have seen many MS Essentials scans.
Ozone 7 was installed 1-2-18 (to install Insight), so this would have been the second scan there.
Sounds like a "glitch" in the latest Essentials definitions, but maybe not...

I have Win7 64, but installed both 32 and 64-bit versions of both VST2 and VST3 plugins. I did a full MSE scan and found no issues, and also checked those folders with Malwarebytes and got nothing.

However, my definitions file is 1.259.1184.0, dated 1/4/2018. I am not sure if the 32 and 64-bit definitions differ.

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

Quick Update:
Reinstalled Ozone 7, Neutron 2 and Ozone 8 (all are "advanced" BTW).
Ran scans with Malwarebytes and MSE (latest update; 1.259.1184.0)
No issues.
I'll report back if anything changes and when iZotope responds to my inquiry.

mettelus,
Thanks for checking.
I've never had an issue with scans on the StudioCat (Win 7 64).
However, these are few and far between.
It hasn't been updated since November (no internet in the studio).
Malwarebytes found nothing, but that was after I let MSE delete the "infected" files.
Just updated MSE to 1.259.1184.0.
When I get some time I'll reinstall Ozone and run both scans.
I'll update at that time, and relate any word I get from iZotope.
Need to bring the "Cat" in and install the 1TB ssd I picked up recently.
