P5 + Vista? Help needed.

Argh I have new Vista laptop and I am trying to install P5 V.2. After I press install project5 it just stops. Any suggestions or should I give up and buy FL studio?

    Hmm. Havent been here within year or two, just been tweaking P5 and havent been paying attention. So, Cakewalk has abandoned P5. Ok. FL-Studio here I come.

    I installed P5v2 on my vista laptop 2 months ago with no problems. Do you have UAC turned on in Vista? You could try running the install program as an administrator too.

    P5 is Vista compatable but yes it seems it was abandoned sadly :(

    Turn off UAC, reboot, and try install again. P5 working fine on VUx64 here, although I do have abnormal termination almost every time. It never crashes, it just gives me the error message when I close it.
