PANNING = HOW DO I CAN PAN A CLIP WITHOUT PANNING THE ENTIRE TRACK ?

There're some clips in my track, I just want to pan them during the song, but not the entire track where they are in.
In other words:
How can I pan a clip without panning the entire track ?

Insert a panning envelope..... add 2 nodes before and 2 nodes after the points you want the panning to switch..... then simply drag the center line between the 2 inner nodes to the position you want.

and.... to get surgical in the panning... zoom in as far as you need to in order to place the nodes accurately.... then back out after you're done.
