PCI express card too short...How come?

I've ordered a PCI express firewire card so as to be able to use my Profire 2626 with my PC...I ordered on ebay and this is what I got. It's a short PCI express card, so short that it doesn't fit in the slot of my PC and the metal holder cannot be put in place for the screw to hold it. What it the problem with this PCI express card. I've never used one before. Can anyone tell what's wrong with it? I wrote to the ebay seller about it! But maybe one of you can get me the solution first. Thanks in advance: http://www.flickr.com/pho...1641179/in/photostream

You'll probably find you can change the faceplate. Did it not come with the higher profile one? If not try the manufacturer's website.

What Karl said - I've yet to run into a low profile card that did not have a full height plate available for it. Usually the card ships with both plates, but when you buy it used (or open box or  b-stock) you run the risk of not getting all the original accessories. Contact the manufacturer, I'm sure they can help you out.
