PCR 500 and X1 - the controller does not work in X1???

Ok I seem to be having a problem with X1 and my PCR 500 the controller part of it seems to not want to communicate with x1. I've tried changing settings and think I have followed all the recomendations and set up by it still doesn't want to work anyone haveing this same problem and any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks

    Assuming you are connected via USB here's a few things to check........

    1. check that the correct port is selected in both the MIDI devices and in the Control surface dialogue.
    2. Remember that PCR controls can be assigned to either port, so check that the PCR set up matches what you have selected in Sonar.
    3. Make sure you have the correct control map selected on the PCR, 1 is the default Sonar map.
    Has this just started recently or has it never worked for you in X1? Have you had in working in previous versions? Do the transport buttons work ok?

    Works fine here BTW.

    Thanks guys it seems to have worked and is working right now, I won't say good but its working better than it was ...appreciate the help

    Hi ,i have a PCR M50 and it's perfect with X1,i use to control console and plug ins.You don't forget that there is a Sonar preset in Roland device to able before open X1.Good luck. Roby

    For Sonar use Program 1 in PCR controllers.
