PCR500: switch MIDI channel

I've got a questionr regarding the PCR500. 
I would like to assign MIDI channel switch for the A and B buttons on it in Sonar X1.
So for example : A1 = MIDI channel 1, A2 = MIDI channel 2
Is this possible?

    Yes and no. No you can't assign it as a channel changing switch (AFAIK) but yes if you assign a function or note to it you can assign the channel that it is sent on.
