+1 I have 75Mbps bandwidth and their site maxed out at 7Mbps download. Pathetic.

I did the update and it trashed my Sibelius and Play licenses. I had to re-authorize Sibelius but Play kept saying EWQLSO was not installed properly. I had to go back to 4.4.20. A lot of people are having problems with it.

And that is why I'm so done with EastWest software. Play has been a continuous headache for me since it was released. I gave them some time/credit in the beginning but it has been 7 years and they still have issues all the time. I said "enough" and switched over to Kontakt libraries and haven't looked back.

Positive reactions coming in too, at their Soundsonline forum. At least for Windows, so I'm still on the fence as a Mac user.

Me too Baps...and the FASTEST I can get anything is like 12 hrs...that's not acceptable in this day and age...they need to get with the program. They NOW offer a Cloud Based system so you'd think that that "in itself" would increase the download speeds, since it's coming from the "Cloud" and not really from their servers...I guess that is a "Cloud" of smoke covering up the real deal... The REALLY bad part is their instruments are "OUTSTANDING" and they charge a PREMIUM price for them, so you would think they would have "SUPER SPEED DOWNLOADS"...not the pathetic pace they currently provide...But I guess the CEO couldn't buy his new Lamborghini if they had to buy faster servers...

They should really move to a torrent based client with multiple seed boxes in different locations that can allow for people to help seed the files quickly. Means faster upload speeds and less overhead cost to them for data transfer. Not like they have to worry about piracy since they use iLok anyway.
