PROCHANNEL EQ causing drop outs.

Hi, I think this has been discussed before but searching the forum doesn't bring up anything.
 
Whenever I try to adjust any of the EQ settings in PROCHANNEL I experience drop outs, usually immediately.
 
This happens even if playback is paused so I know my cpu isn't overstretched.
 
Any tips on how to fix this? I have raised a support ticket.
 
I'm using X1c Producer, no mods.
 
 

SONAR Platypus on Win10 64bit.
Studio One Pro / Cubase Pro 9.5...just in case.

    Just to be clear. When you say drop out do you mean the audio engine stops or there is a momentary silence before the audio comes back?

    Hi Tom, the audio engine stops.

    I have had a response from Cakewalk tech support, so far I have found that increasing the ASIO buffer cures the drop outs albeit at the expense of extra latency.
