PRV Configuration Tool

I've read the sonar has a PRV configuration tool that is supposed to be available from the options menu, but sonar X3 doesn't have an options menu. So how can I open the PRV configuration tool? I can't seem to find how to open this tool.

Not sure what you are looking for there is no PRV Configuration tool. In addition to the main application menu bar each view including the PRV has it's own menu bar some configuration options are in the menu bar. Preferences are setup from Edit > Preferences in the main menu.

You can't. That feature was removed. The Smart tool can't be configured, unfortunately. Back in 8.5, you could configure the PRV tools to function in various ways, but you can't do that in X1, X2, or X3.

That explains it, I have tried my best to forget pre-X series specific stuff. Guess it worked in this case. The Options menu should have been the clue though.

Thanks, that explains things. Do you know why that feature was removed? It seems useful.

I don't know for sure, but it was probably easier for Cakewalk. They have a specific workflow in mind for the new versions and once you learn how to use the Smart tool, the workflow is really smooth and efficient.
