PRV with drum map...doesn't save view

I have two 28" monitors and love having so much visible real estate.  I keep the TV on one and the Console/PRVs on the other.

Problem is...when I open up a project, all of the PRV tabs I had are saved just fine...except the drum map...which ALWAYS opens up without the drum map visible.  I always have to drag the window down from the top...to expose the drum map, even though the "show drum map" is selected.

The drum map view is then shown from then on...until I close the project and re open it.  When I open the same project...the drum map is again hidden behind the regular PRV view...having to click on the "bar" at the top of the screen and drag it down.

I would think that this "view" would be saved along with the rest of the PRVs.  Sometimes I may have 5 or 6 PRV tabs in the PRV, and one always containing my drums from Superior Drummer.

But upon opening a project, I click on the drum track tab in PRV....it's always hidden until I drag down the bar to expose the drum map.

Anyone else experiencing this besides me?

This problem was also in X1...at least for me.

I wish I could help with this one Ted, but I had exactly the same problem, and in the end I gave up. I now don't bother with drum maps at all because of this.

I use a slot in a screenset to keep the drum map view open in the PRV.

Thanks guys.  I know it's not a major problem....just thought maybe someone had came across this and had a simple answer for it.

I can live with it....just have to drag the window open every time.

    I appreciate the responses though :) .

I don't know which is better, but in my case I open a project and double-click one of clips in the drum track (PRV opens) and double-click the clip once again (drum grid pane opens). This way, at least I don't have to do the dragging down.
