PRV...drum map view...

I have Superior Drummer 2.0 and the drum maps which I love.  But my question is...

When I first open a project, the drum track PRV defaults to showing piano keys instead of the drum map.  I have to click and drag the top of the SD 2.0 PRV window to expose the drum map.  The drum map is always there...but hidden behind this piano keys view.

Is there a way to make the drum map view the default when opening a project?  It's not a big deal...but would be nice to have that option.

I have the output of the SD 2.0 midi track pointing to the correct drum map...and the drum map is there in the PRV....but always hid behind a view of the piano keys upon opening a project...which I have to drag down from in front of the DM.

Any suggestions?

Have you got "Show/Hide drum pane" checked in the PRV menu--->View?

The drum map display has always been a little quirky in that the notes pane (where the drum names are) always narrows to it's default width but apart from that it works okay.

The drum map manager on the other hand.......

I completely agree with the default notes pane being too narrow.
5-6 characters for the default drum name is a bit restricting when it opens up - been that way since ...forever.

I wish you could lock that view once you set it ...or default it to triple the width.

    Minor annoyance.

this setting should save with the project.

if you want to be able to get the drum map to show instead of the piano keys when opening a new instance of SD, you could set it up as you want and then save it as a track template

I was saddened to see this STILL AN ISSUE with X2. It's only been, what, 4 or so releases later?

Yeah, it's an annoyance and we're all living with it.
