PSB B-Scanner

This looks intersting!! http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/multimode_effects/psp_b-scanner/
PSP B-Scanner is an emulation of the analog scanner-based effect available in the most  sought-after models of vintage Hammond® tonewheel organs (such as B-3,  C-3, A-100 and others). Although the PSP B-Scanner has been meticulously  designed to recreate the classic sound of the Hammond® B-3 Vibrato and  Chorus, it offers a wide range of options allowing you to maximize the  potential of this unique effect.

I am going to download the demo and I will report back!

I like this, I think its a keeper. Here are my first impressions.

First I tried it with a completely clean, un-effected C3 patch from NI Vintage Organs. I am not qualified to comment on the authenticity of the sound but to my ears it sounds very good indeed.

Next I tried the Scarbee A-200 and it works well with Electric piano sounds.

It was really glorious on Hollow Suns Vox continental! I also tried a few of Hollow Sun’s Mellotrons this worked well.

A bit more off the wall I tried it some of OTS’s Dracus (8 string guitar) distorted presets. There is potential!

The controls are straightforward and well laid out. I like the random feature.

    Edit.
BTW $39 until 1st May, the $69. Less if you have other PSP products regestered. (and plus 20% VAT if you are in the EU)

I'll have to give this a shot to see whether I prefer the scanner or their L'otary Leslie simulation for organ sounds.  It seems like most of the famous players like the Leslie (in real life), but this sounds pretty good.

I use Melda's Vintage Rotary (for dirty) or XILS LX122 (for clean) most of the time, Scanner sounds a little different. I would not say its essential but I like idea of having both types at my fingertips.

Even though it's on $22.27 for me, I think I'll pass on this juan.
