Shawn, this has so much potential, and it sounds flexible enough that it could be used in a variety of ways.  You've managed to carve out your own niche, and it's working very well for you.

    All the best,

Thanks Lynn, I just updated the song, took out some of the noise and added more strings...it's an improvement I think...by the way you should check out my new updated SoundTraxx website...I'm pretty darn proud of it and built it myself....

Well, like a lot of this music, it just never takes off for me.  I know that I need to imagine being on a dance floor but it just doesn't develop until abiut 2:10 or so.  Then it sits there again.  Remember, I am a blues/rock guy and I need A part, Bpart, chorus, etc.  LOL  The production is really good.  I don't have that big "kick' in the percussion that I'm used to on a lot of this.  I always like your stuff Shaun.  This one just kinda sat there for me.  I'm gonna check out your website.

The alternation between piano and synth riff at the beginning was the coolest part for me - great chords in the piano. I kept hoping that trick (contrasting the two) would be used further on in the track. Was that a recorded acoustic piano, or an emulation? Sits just right in the mix.

Shawn, Nice backing track with a good flow to it. Like Warren, I'm not that big into the dance areas of music. One that I did do a long time ago in on my Sound Click music page called Cast the First Stone. You can get that its a dance piece, but I also like to add in all the epic and dynamic stuff into the mix as well. We all have our nitch and so we go with it. Nice arrangement and production on the mix. Keep this one going and add in some other instrumentation and see where it goes.

    Peace and blessings, John

That Piano was a sample included with SONAR so who knows...I feel so guilty using samples but it is fun and I play some parts, mish mash samples together, in general have fun. I think my music chops were better when I was 19 (41 now) because samples weren't so abundant and easy to use!

    Your Pal,
