PVA-X MY NEW FLIGHTSIM VIDEO SONG

Hi everyone its been a real busy three weeks for me , first spending a week repainting the new airliner for my upcoming video in Pinellas VA colors .
Then a week or so off and on creating my new instrumental music to go with my upcoming Pinellas VA airline flightsim video .

Its been ten years flightsimming with Steve who runs this virtual airline web site for flightsimmers .
So this is sort of my ten year gift to him and his web site virtual airline called Pinellas Airlines VA .

If you click on the soundclick link it will take you to the song called PVA-X , the ( X ) stands for XPlane .
http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11097455&q=hi&newref=1

Next to the song is a small picture and thats the airliner jet I completely repainted in his VA colors , I spent some hours repainting the whole airplane using my Paint Shop Pro 8 software used for repainting these types of flightsim airplanes .

Anyway the song and video is a three and a half minutes long , hope you enjoy the music .

Cheers ! Radio

Thanks for the listen ! Radio

    Hi, James,

This is a very cool song with a great "atmospheric" vibe, that will fit perfectly to one of your flightsim videos!  The mix sounds clean and wide, and I really like your drums on this.

    Great job, buddy!

Thanks Bob , everything has been going as plan making the video untill the other day when I started recording the flightsim using my XPlane 9 .
Suddenly all my scenery graphics went to hell , my joystick was working like it was after I downloaded installed Microsofts Windows XP explorer 8 .
That was a big mistake doing that because from that day on my computer plus my music software has been messing up on me .

So now I'm trying to save five DVD's worth of files I saved over the last eight months .
This video project is going to be placed on hold for another two or three weeks , really sucks !

Thanks for the listen , I'll get back to it sometime by the week-end or next week after I reinstall my Windows XP Pro again and all my music software and flightsim software .

Thanks for the great comments on the song , if I can think of a way to work around on my computer issues I'm having right now maybe I can finished it before I tear everything down but as it stands now the light is looking mighty dim .

    Cheers ! Radio

Nice vibe, love that "whistling patch" or whatever that is.  Very cool.

I haven't done flight sim since the next to the last version.  Are they ever going to upgrade past FS 10?  I've not seen anything new on FS in some time.

I still have my yoke and pedals.  Once I retire I hope to find time to get back into it.  I logged a great many miles over the years in FS since the earlist versions.

It really has come to a point of realism that is just amazing.  I never thought of it as game, alwasy as a simulator.  I always planned my flights, and flew the plan.  Although I will confess to flying in some places that would have you in jail if you tried it in the real world :)

Hi Daryl I did know you were into flightsimming wow thats cool , the only reason I stopped five years ago was because I wanted to learn more about creating music for myself so I could create music for flightsim videos I enjoy making .
Yea I myself have logged in thousand of hours flightsimming , I have all the flightsims out there including some real flight simulator software designed for real pilot training .
XPlane by Austin Meyers has a brand new flightsim due out by Christmas called  XPlane 10 , its going to blow FSX by Microsoft out of the water with some of the best realism ever created for flightsim .
AS soon as I get my computer backup and running I will finish this video project .
Right now I'm saving everything on my computer so by friday I can uninstall my Windows XP and then reinstall it .
When I downloaded and installed Windows internet explorer 8 everything started acting weird , Xplane 9 that I'm using to make my flightsim video with really started looking bad with graphics .
It wasn't that way before when I was running internet explorer 7 , this happen to me once before eight months back when I try installing internet explorer 8 and all the update .
Hey thanks for the listen and comments , by the way did you ever fly online using Vatsim , I used to fly online all the time where you have real people acting as ATC controllers .
Everything was done live online where you fly like in the real world , thats was alot of fun when I was doing it .

Hopefully sometime by the end of next week I'll have my computer fixed and my flightsim video project finished .

    Thanks ! Radio

I tried other simulators and some had great graphics, including X-Plane, but none of them I tried had the realisim of flight characteristics and the depth scenery and airports.  You can fly anywhere in the world.

I did complete one around the world flight in the Lear 35 BEFORE GPS!  I did it all with compass and VORs.  I only had two near mishaps but managed to land both times without running out of fuel.  HINT  Do NOT MISS HIAWII.  A budy of mine ran out of fuel and splashed in the Pacific on his first try and never tried again.  Try to hit Hawaii from Califorina with NO gps or other forms of cheating :)

I had extensive scenery add-on and planes.  I was hard core on flightsim.com forum for years.

I love airplanes and I could really lose myself in it.  But I'm still working and music is more important to me these days.  I think FS was an outlet for me during my hiatus from music.  Now that I'm back at my first, and true love, many things have taken a back seat.

I had to uninstall my windows XP , sorry for the slow reply back . I know what you mean by going back to your first love which is music . I decided to get back into flightsimming to start making video so I can post my music with the video.
Alot of flightsimmers watch these type of videos and I was thinking it might give me more exposure but then again its just a hobby of mine music and flightsimming .
