Well I'm sitting 99% of the time so that may not help but I could use some kind of beeple bra to keep from sitting directly on them.

Ah... guns. You'll have to excuse my daftness. Up here anything more powerful than a slingshot makes people poop themselves.

    ???

More sideways than anything. It's cold enough at my current latitude. I escaped the really crazy winters many years ago. People think hell is hot. It's not. It's a frozen wasteland.

    ??? is right....
So you're not talking about packing as in guns and you're not
referring to packing as in moving....I give up.

Between monkeys, 600, packing, nose pots and a bunch of other
just plain weird **** around here I'm thinking snorting gum balls
would be a better way to spend time....I think I was the only one curious anyway.

And I'm sad today because I think today is the day I should pack up my DAW... but I'll feel so lonely without it. :-/

    I like packing.

It usually means I'm either going on holiday (vacation), moving, or coming home, all of which are good for a buzz.

I prefer unpacking because it means I made it to my destination. It's also easier. I go all OCD when packing trying to sort things just right and keep everything as condensed as possible. Unpacking I can just take my sweet old time and just pull out what I need. Never fully unpacked in my current place... which is good in retrospect.

We still have one box of stuff in our garage which was left over from when we moved to our current house - in 2001

It's never been opened, though I think I know what's in it

I don't know to what severity, but I'd be willing to go through something pretty horrible, rather than move again.

Once we get this place fixed up and live here a few years, we're going to sell it and build a really small place on a lot of land. Something super easy to heat and cool and clean, and that will be it. Never again after that.

    Thats my kinda thinkin'.

I like about 1800 sq ft on one level.  Small, simple and enough room to stay out of everyones way but easy on utilities.  Have it facing south so enough solar panels can be stuck on the roof to knock out the better part of the electric bills and also catch the heat in the winter to make it easier on the heating.

I think Id like to be on some land up high overlooking northern Lake Michigan or somewhere up around the other lakes in that area.

    All about simple and self-sufficient
