Palliative alternative to reorder synths in the synth rack

While bakers do not meet this old request (http://bakery.cakewalk.com/Idea/13171/Add-capability-to-reorder-synths-order-in-the-synth-rack), I figured out a way to reorder the synths in the synth rack.
It is laborious, but at least it works, because until then it was impossible to reorder the synth rack.
  1. Open synth rack, obviously;
  2. Right-click on the synth you want to reorder;
  3. Delete the synth;
  4. Undo (Ctrl + Z);
  5. This synth will now be the last one on the list;
  6. Repeat the steps with the next synth that you want to be right after the latter and so on.
As I said, it's laborious, but at least now it's not impossible to reorder the synth rack.

    "Palliative alternative" is a very nice nominative alternative for a "workaround".

    This is really a more appropriate word ...

    OK, I tried this, on the surface it looks as if it worked.

    BUT - it screws up all the synth inputs and outputs. So I go to play my virtual acoustic guitar, and the output is coming from the Les Paul and going through guitar rig. It really sounds bad :-)

    I you move a few synths around like this, things can get very messy.
    So my snare drum now play 'G' on the piano, which the outputs via my virtual guitar ... no soundy much chop!

    I think I'll leave the synths where they are :-)

    I went to vote at the link in at the top, but it just redirects back to the forum.
    Oh well, back to the keyboard.

    The order in the rack doesn't matter to me since the names can be changed in the rack.
    Examples:
    Omnisphere 1 - Bass and Pads
    Kontakt 5-1 Percussion
    Kontakt 5-2 Brass
    Kontakt 5-3 Extra Percussion and Damage
    Omnsphere 2 - Solos and FX Hits

    Much easier to just name them as I like that worry about order.
    The order doesn't matter in the least.
