PaperTrip
This is a song I wrote and recorded in 2012. I know it's not perfect. Best I could do at the time. It's one of the few songs I managed to save the master tracks from after my last hard drive crash. I lost a bunch of songs in my last hard drive crash and only managed to save like 7 master tracks on a flash drive. I made the stupid mistake of keeping my master tracks on an external hard drive, well the external hard drive is what crashed. Anyway, this song is about getting a letter from someone leaving you and tripping out on it so to speak. Tripping = Freaking etc.... It's a bit Alice In Chains sounding I guess. If anybody can sing that Genre of music and would like to add vocals to this and help on the remix send me a PM. I can always re-record things, problem with re-recording a lot of times though is you lose the vibe. I know my vox is harsh sounding and kinda works but doesn't work, it's just added to show how I hear thing or try to that is. http://seriousnoize.bandcamp.com/track/papertrip Thanks for listening, Bobby

Nice one Bobby , your vocals seems to fit in with this type of sound . I would stick with creating music of this type and keep working on your vocals and lyric writing . James

Oh yea I took your advice and decided to redo my old song Neverland a song I did after M.J. died back in 2009 . I dug up my song files for that NEVERLAND song and started checking out all my recorded tracks I recorded in that song , most of them I will have to go back and redo completely because what I'm recording now is not what I was recording back then and the way I mixed my music now sounds better now then it did back in my earlier days of creating music and songs . Anyway thanks for pushing that on me , I think it will be a fun project to work on. I'll be able to add my own lead guitar to it this time around , back then Blipp was kind enough to add a short lead guitar track to it . I also plan on adding real drums to it as well , should be interesting to see how it turns out the second time around , thanks Bobby ! James

This song seems nicely balanced and very grungy. I could hear everything clearly, and I enjoyed the vibe. Although it reminds me of other artists, it sounds unique because of your voice. I lost a couple of songs last year when my hard drive crashed, so I feel your pain. I now have a better backup plan. Good luck to you.

Thanks Lynn, sorry to hear about your hard drive crash also. I am thinking about buying one of those 32GB flash drives, at least until I can afford a new PC and backup hard drive, they had them here locally at office depot for 12 dollars a few weeks back but I missed the sale. I know flash drives have a limited life span but for that price it would be worth it for me to not lose anything else. I'm down to one hard drive at the moment. Thanks again for listening and the kind compliments, I appreciate it very much. Bobby

Very clear mix with lots of space. I'm getting a little drum overload on the right side (cymbal and low tom?). Otherwise, sounds great! Regards, Dan

Thanks Dan - Luckily I still have the master tracks to this one after my hard drive crash. I managed to save 5 of them and can remix it. Drums and vocals for me seem to be the hardest thing to record, Right now I only have MC5's studio drums and Session Drummer 2, hopefully I can upgrade in the near future. Thanks again. Thanks Mark - I really liked your latest song post, Happy Birthday to me, that was outstanding man!! Thanks again.
