At the suggestion of three people there is an alternate version to be found at post #29 with a Concert Grand rather than the Wurlitzer EP.

Nice tune and nice arrangement. I might have chosen other sounds myself. I can't help wondering what the main melody would sound like with an acoustic piano sound.

I will see, the lead voice in this is not quite as simple as it may sound, there is an M1 with multi patch and a Wurlitzer played together. Maybe I will experiment at some point.

Hi Wookiee, i love the thematic song series. I think the tune fits with what you said -- a grand entrance followed by thoughtful development and closing with another heightened section.

cool John. a bit different hearing this more thru-composed harmonic piece. i myself can hear some Brian May-style harmony guitars to add to the epicness. like the choice of cadence, esp the major-minor thing. i presume you will have all the parts you have composed released on some Annus Mirabalis CD in the New Year?

Thank you Mark, I am trying to be a little more thoughtful with this set of tunes. I was sitting at the keyboard and I just stumbled across some of the chord changes for this, nice when that happens. Nice one, Wooks... FWIW, I'm also hearing acoustic piano layered in there - it just seems like a "natural" piano part. But I could also hear the synth stabs done with a nice big brass section instead. You've got melodies and chord progressions that seem well suited for an orchestra. Either way though, I like it.
