[Partially SOLVED] Last Windows update: not a secure site.

Chrome will no longer allow the "Go to the Top Of Page" arrow to work. Works in Edge though.

Last unread post icon in Chrome is busted but works in Edge.

Edit: No more not a secure site messages now.

Now THIS issue I know about (had it with several clients from time to time).

Google has tightened their security and lots of SSL certificates had to be renewed (you may not have noticed, but Chrome requires all sites to be secure now, i.e., https:// not http://).  That said, Google has thousands of servers and it can take some time to get the updated certs out to all of them.

Last Windows update removed Firefox from my wife's computer entirely.

The v61 Chrome update deprecated some old scrolling methods to attempt to enforce the latest scrolling methods (kind of like how they did with HTML5; no more Acrobat inside of Chrome).

    Jyemz,

It's a throw back to when I was doing multi-browser testing for a new website.

The browser with the most troubles that needed correcting in the code was Firefox. Chrome was the least and the latest IE (this was before Edge existed) was about in the middle.

Don't even get me started on Safari.

I'm not seeing any issues here with Chrome. Or Firefox. I even pulled up Edge to check (had to go find it) and no problems there, either.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Agreed. It seems the not secure message has cleared itself up now.

The go to last post and the Go To Top Of Page icons are still borked up in Chrome, but not Edge.

Somone said it's the Chrome 6.1 update that removed some capability. I guess APG has some work to do to support the latest version of Chrome.
