Payment question

I am a monthly payment person. Is or is not this automatic? Reason I ask is that in firing up Platinum it says I will be in demo mode in 13 days. Looking on my account I don't see a way to make a payment. Thanks much, Shep

    I called CW support. They said it was a issue with Paypal and recurring. Transferred me to Cleverbridge, call ended immediately. Called back, CW closed. I guess this issue is on hold til tomorrow. Make music til then!

    How did you make your initial payment, Shep? If you used a credit card, it is indeed automatic. If you used Paypal, you may have to take additional steps.
    If your DAW computer is online, the process should go on quietly in the background.
    Be sure to download the Braintree 1b update, as it specifically deals with certain issues for those of us on the payment plan.
    You should also be getting email reminders that a payment is coming due. Check your email for notifications.
    I used a CC, my payment day is the 21st of the month, my Daw is online, and I have gone through 3 payment cycles now without a hitch.

    edit: just saw your second post. Paypal seems to be a problem for some.
    fwiw, I have always used my cc with Cakewalk, and have never had any problems.

    Hi Robert, I did use Paypal. I purchased in January, this is the 1st payment issue. I have updated. I think the issue is with Paypal, though. Looking at the Cleverbridge/Sonar activity, it says I am on 'pay after delivery' - WTH? I never set my account up that way. I understand I have 10 days of CW grace, that should be more than enough to fix the evil Paypal gremlin. Thanks much for chiming in, Robert!

    This has been my experience with Sonar's Monthly Membership and so far it has been very smooth.

    I have a monthly membership program for Sonar Platinum that I pay for with Paypal through Cleverbridge. I made the first payment on Jan 23, 2015 to get the ball rolling.  At that time, with the initial release of Sonar, the help about did NOT display my membership status.

    On the 17 Feb, 2015, I received an email from Cleverbridge asking me to make the next months payment via PayPal, which I did.  In the meantime, A Sonar update was released.  One of the changes this update added was that in Sonar's "Help about", it showed me my membership status and when it was valid until. At that time it showed a date of 6th April , 2015.

    On the 19 March, 2015, I received another email from Cleverbridge asking me to make the next months payment via PayPal, which I did.   On the 23rd March, the "valid until" date on Sonar's Help about changed to 7th May, 2015.

    This is how a month membership should go down if you payed for your monthly membership via PayPal through Cleverbridge.
