Peace on Y'all (Funk)

Alright sisters and brothers, it's time for some fun and if you're not careful there might be a wee bit of a message.  Sisters and brothers there is not much of a melody in this song --- it is just the irreverent, irrelevant, and irascible brother Freddy J testifying in his best brother Wayne Cochran style as possible.  The boys in the band (Tampa Fred, Baldhead Fred, Freddy Jim, etc.) are borrowing heavily from those that have come before --- bass and rhythm riff from the Peter Green-Fleetwood Mac song "Long Gray Mare" and several of the songs of Howlin' Wolf; and one of the rhythm styles is copied from the Lowell Fulsum version of the song "Tramp".  The idea for the song came from a fraternity brother (from long ago).  Every time he would make his exit, he would flash the peace sign and (in his best Lower Alabama accent --  as the Florida Panhandle is sometimes called) say ..."You're beautiful people, peace on y'all."

So sisters and brothers relax, kick back, and immerse yourself in a bad song done even worse.
As always comments, crit's, suggestions, etc. are most gratefully appreciated.

Peace on Y'all

    Thank you John.

Hi Rik.  I am very glad you liked it.  Thanks for commenting.

Hello Mr. Rick!  Thanks a bunch -- I really appreciate your comments and support while I have been trying to figure out what I am doing with this stuff.  I am still stuck using drum loops (haven't got the skills yet to build my own).  This song is using a few loops from Drag and Drop Drummer that used to come with Guitar Tracks (back in the olden days).

Hey Brother Mark.  You are much to kind!  Thank you.

Thanks Ben.  I appreciate the kind words.  I had a lot of fun doing this.  I think my family thought I was nuts though.

Hey Robert.  Thanks for the good words and thank also for taking the time to listen.

Hi Bobby.  Thanks a million for the kind words and support.  I too am always amazed and inspired by all of the talent on this forum.  BTW I really like your recent post.

What's so funny about peace, love and understanding? I was out the other night and tried to convey this message of love to a young lady? She called the cops... But I was spelling it "piece", and love? So maybe that was the problem? Spelling counts you know?

Well Bobby, or "person who called himself Bobby?" If you're a guitar player? Why not post a song? It's what we do? We're all musicians? So post one up? A Mix? :-) It will, "of course?" be a work in progress?

I hope this isn't taken as an insult, but this is just too cute.  I could just see the Muppets doing this song.  Great mix.  I loved how the drums were set up, and the lead guitar was exceptional.

Hey Robby.  Ah but you are the rascal -- are you not??  Spelling is indeed impartatnt    :>)

Hello Max.  Thanks for listening.  I am very glad that you liked it.

Hi Karalie.  With all the rancor and vitriol that seems to be consuming us, it seemed appropriate to "preach" about the good feelings that it seems that we should be spreading.  The golden rule -- it is a real old message but non-the-less a good one.  Thanks for listening and for the kind comments.

Thanks Glen:  I very much appreciate your taking the time to listen and comment.  Hey, I would love for the Muppets to do this song.

Hi Scotty.  I hope it brought a smile to your face.  Thanks a bunch!!
