Scientists annoy me, they're always going on about Boyle's Law and Archimedes' Law.

Pfft.... One came up to me and said. "If you had an apple which experiences no net force, then its velocity is constant: the apple is either at rest, or it moves in a straight line with constant speed - that's Newton's Law"

So I said "Here's one for you: If you have an apple, a carrot, a cabbage, mayonnaise and mix them all up together, it tastes really nice - that's Coles Law"

People who can't do math arguing with people who can. About math. 


Two things that annoy me:
  1. People who think that the acceptable abbreviation of "mathematics" is "math"

    It's "maths". Mathematics has an 'S' on the end, so should the abbreviation.

    It's a bit like folk who insist on using the incorrect plural 'Court Martials' instead of 'Courts Martial'

Ha ha ha good one! 

My wife and I actually enjoy watching Rosanne. Pretty much sums up life for the battlers (most people), so I guess their use of humor to sugarcoat hard times helps to keep ones sanity intact. LOL!! Yeah, laughter is good for the soul :) 

I think things such as; death, ill-health; watching love ones suffer kinda puts into perspective that a lot of complaints I see on these forums are absolutely petty and not worth getting ones panties in a knot! 

That said; Life can be tough for everybody; we come here to the CH to chill out and share a laugh; so how about not making life worse by complaining over petty things.  Be glad to have good health and live in these great times where we can have music studios that are very affordable and be able to produce great music virtually ITB, but if one day it blows don't panic; it's just material, it can be saved, t can be fixed, it can be replaced.

  Things about people only bother me because I allow them to bother me. If I look in the mirror I am looking at a sometimes annoying guy. I think the main problem comes from having an expectation that is too generous. Expectation- People will not almost run over you  in the grocery store,everyone there will be patient.  People will not reach right in front of your face to get something.People will say "excuse me". Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news.....lol.

 Expectation- People will pick up after themselves. I don't know what house your living in but it ain't mine.

Expectation- People driving will wait their turn at a 4 way stop. People will not ride your rear end like they are about to run out of street.When you honk at someone who almost hits you out of inconsideration, that person will not throw you the middle finger, but realize their error.

 Expectation- People  living in close proximity to other people will notice and respect their neighbors space.  Reality- People seem to like making it known that they are on the planet in the loudest most irritating ways they can come up with.

 I guess the answer here is to expect very very little from people and then if someone is actually considerate we are pleasantly surprised.
