People who don't bathe

So it's like, SUMMER, which means its HOT... people who are working in the heat should take a daily shower..... minimum. Yeah, and it gets the dirt from the job off as well.

I was working yesterday on a project replacing a door that had rusted out. I handle the specialized electronic locking/security system on that door. So the crew shows up and starts removing the door. One of them very obviously had not had a bath in...I'm guessing here..... oh, I think, maybe two or three days.....  To be sure he could smell himself because I could smell him even when I was up wind from him.

Musty funk..... to phrase it delicately.

I was glad when they were done  and I could leave.


Ahhhhh fresh air at last.

that's what made me remember this incident.

Last Friday night, my 20 year old daughter was flying home from L.A. She texted "Kill me now, I'm sitting next to a couple of guys who smell like urine!"

She had a layover in NYC, so I called to see how she was doing and how the flight had gone. She said she waited until the smelly fellas fell asleep, then sprayed them head to toe with perfume. The stewardess came by and gave her a wink, and when the guys woke up much later they gave a sniff, looked at each other and smiled.

Smart cookie that kid of mine.
