At first glance $150 seems a tad high, but later I read this: "Another thing to notice about the Perfect Drums factory library is that it is ever-growing. And that means, you will get tons of new instruments as a FREE update! For lifetime!" Now I might be curious as to the rate of updates.

That is an interesting twist. The developer seems all gung ho now but this is such a crowded market. I hope the sales support continued development.

Like Ocean Way Drums which came out quite a while ago...and nothing has been released for it since, and really hasn't had any updates... Waste of money it was...

Could be Baps...
That's part of the problem. They release something and then you get no support, no add ons, no nothing really. It's pretty sad to ask a premium dollar for something, and then just let the product sit dormant. Even if you didn't get the original response you expected, you NEED to show that the product is WORTH investing in to others!
THAT is how you get customers...not by letting it sit and rot... That certainly doesn't "help your sales"...that's for sure.

Considering I released Purrrfect Drums and Purrrfect Drums 2.0, I think the name could have been better chosen.

I watched the video walkthrough last night, and it's going to take a lot more content to move someone using BFD3 or SSD4 to this. I'll admit, their smart sample loading algorithm is pretty nice, but I wasn't all that impressed with the samples themselves. Honestly, some of them sounded like they came from SSD4... Dan

I was about to make the same observation. He should have named it "Purrfect Drums" to avoid confusion.

I was wondering what Jim's take on this would be. Purrfect Drums for GigaStudio was really my first really good drum sample set. Of course since then I've picked up most of the big ones to add to the collection, but for me, it was way ahead of it's time.
