Perpetual Funk Follows Me Everywere
Just a jam groove thing I recorded over the last week....all guitars are line 6 Variax/Tele Model, Bass is a Rickenbacker 4001, drums are from the Mick Fleetwood Acid loops collection, which i sliced and diced to try and groove...all guitars and bass tracked thru Line 6 Podxtlive... Perhaps a tad to much general reverb but I have been wrong before.

Variax - I really enjoyed this - you are one funky mofo. Nice playing all-around - and the mix on this is really good. Good job.

I enjoyed that. For some reason, I kept waiting for Frank Zappa to start a monologue. Yeah, there's a lot of 'verb, but I think it fits the mood.

Great song. Very tasty grooves. @RobertB: Too funny about waiting for Frank. So true.

Cool.. Got that vibe about Zappa as well. I think the lyrics to I am the slime would work really well Love that Wah-Wah tid-bits!

I used to play a ric 4001 in a band as a kid :-) birdseye maple You have a bass transient right at :52 from some pop/slap technique that may could use a bit more love in your mix. hit it with an envelope. Nice performances :-)

Welcome to the "funk board". You and YoYo get together and decide to do funk? LOL! I think the drums on this were very tight. Good sound on the Ricky! Very nicely done. Very cool around the 2 min. mark!

Great tight funky sounds with some tastey lead chops. I particularly like the New Orleans/Meters style stop and starts. Nice one. Freddy J

Great funky vibe. I think I'm going to agree with Wookie about turning down the reverb just a tad. Also, I might turn up the bass a bit as well (but then again I'm a bass fan). Thanks,
