Petrolia (Ontario, Canada)

Here is a number about a great little town in southern Ontario.  It is the area from which most of my family comes.  I never spent any extended length of time there but did spend significant time visiting grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc.  I have good memories of these visits and I hope that this song expresses some of my sentiments about this unique place.  The song is a bit long but I had a lot to say.

I hope that you enjoy it.  As always, suggestions and feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Cool little tune/song. Nice to be thinking about the good ole' days and then putting it together in a song. Nice one.

Canada? Well that explains it :-)

It is a beautiful country though. I took a bidness trip to Vancouver once, and rented a bike and rode it up to Whistler? "Amazing..."

Thanks John, I appreciate the feedback.  Ya, this one was mostly about the lyrics, and trying to keep the connection with days gone by.

Hey Frank.  Even though I grew up in southern Ontario during my younger years, most of what I learned about Canada was from the movie "Canadian Bacon"   ;>)  (just kidding).  Thanks for listening and commenting!

Robbaaaay -- What can I say -- born in Peru, grew up in my younger days in Ontario, and from college on have adopted Florida as home.  No wonder that I am confused?!*?  Thanks for listening and commenting.  There is something that I am not comfortable with in this number as far as the arrangement.  Do you have any suggestions?
