    Magnitude 10 bummer.

Never got to see Phil live, but I made friends with Mal Eastick in Sydney when there a few times on business. He did some work with Tommy, some of which was captured on his second CD.

Australia had (and I assume still has) a fantastic blues scene. I got to see Mal and the Bondi Cigars. And then a CD release party for the not-quite-blues Mighty Reapers (Robert Susz, of Dynamic Hepnotics fame).

I hope they hold a tribute concert and film it. If we're going to be sad, let's a least make an Irish wake out of it.
