Phil & Friends collab on a new original: "Little Miss Perfect" NEW MIX 7/9 Link Now Works

Hi folks, it's been a while since I've posted or even been back to Songs for a visit.  Well, no long story except to say it has been a strange year .  With the help of my good friend Bapu I got this one going and then with his help enlisted the rest of this fine group to bring the tune to life.  Thanks for some superb playin', guys.  Credits are-
Ed (Bapu) Kocol- Bass and Production
Daryl (Daryl1968) Greenway- Piano and Background Vocals
Dave (Quantumeffect) Carlson- Drums
Scott (Scottytunes) Campbell- Fiddle
Phil (Philz) Doyle- Rhythm Guitar, Lead Vocal, Songwriter

Hope you all like it.  All comments welcome.  Thanks for listening.

UPDATED MIX 7/3/14- With thanks to all those who remarked on the low vox levels, Ed has done a new mix with elevated vocals... posted at the same link below.
It's the top song on my Soundclick page at: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=1050818&content=music

Sounds good Phill! That's quite a cast... The Traveling Willberries is already taken, how about Dingle, no that probably wouldn't work either. Great performances all the way around.

    Phil,

Fun song, all the players hit their marks.   I like how you transition to the shuffle rhythm at the guitar solo, very smooth.     Super enjoyable performances.

If you could give advice for recording with a backing band thats a large size what would it be you guys? Im so used to working with 4 pieces or less... seems daunting.

Good stuff, sounds like The Band at times (compliment intended). Instruments are very well mixed and placed but the vocals and harmonies are a little small and quiet to my ears.

Sounds great. Really like the guitar lead. Fiddle is nice. The vocal, at times, needs to come up in places (IMO). Overall, very nice.

    Thanks, Jason.

Thanks, Mark.  I played around a lot with that idea (shuffle), and the song just wanted to go there.

Fun song!   Well done to all.

Mix sounds good to me too.   Maybe a bit more width in the harmonies, but otherwise it seems to fit the genre very well.
