Piano One soft synth in X1

I can not seem to get any audio out of the "Piano One' soft synth (using X1 Producer). Level meters on channel indicate signal received from MIDI controller but nothing seems to go to Master output. Routing appears set up correctlly and all other soft synths work just fine.  I'm experienced with audio recording but new to the MIDI/Synth world so I'm sure this is probably due to operator error. But any help would be appreciated.

If all other synths work fine, then it may be a compatibility problem between Piano One and SONAR. I don't know, since I've never used Piano One.

Are you using the Insert > Soft Synths menu so that SONAR automatically sets up the appropriate tracks and routing?

I use Piano One with Sonar X1 Studio.  I insert it via Insert>Soft Synth    I do it as a Simple Instrument Track (because I don't really know what all the other options are about).

I am indeed using the Insert>Soft Synth and creating a simple instrument track. The user interface pops up fine, I see the "keys" acivate when I press a key on my controller, I see a signal on the channel but nothing on the master channel and no sound. I'm routing everything identically to how I route my other soft synths which all work fine. But no signal from channel to master in Piano One. I've tried re-downloading and installing.

Is there some "duh, you idiot" mistake I'm probably making?

I didn't mention that I'm running on Windows 7. Could that be it? Or maybe a 32 vs 64 bit issue?

With True Piano and the Concert Grand and other Pianos in Dimension Pro, I don't know why you'd use an unsupported freebie. That's just asking for problems.

I'm not familiar with that synth and this is just a stab in the dark but have you actually loaded a patch into the synth?
