Piano Roll Controller pane- quick question

Hey All,

I don't know what you call this...but in the X3 version or older, in the piano roll, the velocity and other controllers would appear in a separate space in the bottom. Right now they're all combined and on top of each other on the main section where the notes are. How can I adjust this?

Thanks
-Jeff

In the Piano Roll View, go to the view menu and make sure there is a tick next to "Show/Hide Controller Pane"

This doesn't work for me. This just makes the velocity lines appear and disappear...but they are still overlayed on top of the notes.

Not clear, are you now in Sonar Platinum, or still in Sonar X3 ?

Have you tried holding your mouse on the bottom of the PRV window, and dragging it upwards to expose the controller view window at the bottom ? The default view is velocity, so you should see velocity lines down there.
That is, as described above by promidi, as long as you have  "Show/Hide Controller Pane" turned on in the view menu.

I have no idea what the issue is but I think everyone missed this part of the OP.
That sounds very abnormal to me.

CCs can either be displayed in the main PRV window or in controller lanes below it as mentioned above.  It's usually velocity bars, but other CCs can also be used.    However, it seems like the OP can't get the controller lane(s) to display for some reason....

Does it make any difference if you toggle that setting back and forth?   What about if you drag up the divider at the bottom of the PRV?

Thanks Steve, I didn't realize other CCs could be visible in the note display section.
