Piano Roll Snap

In Piano Roll, I use the Smart Tool to stretch or shrink note durations of MIDI events to create legato passages.  The Snap-To does not seem to affect durations, so I have to go back and quantize after the fact.

Amy way to make the ends of the notes snap to the grid when stretching or shrinking with the Smart Tool?

I do this all the time.  Some posts have discussed a flaw in the setting for magnetic strength in Prefs/Snap, so you might check those settings.  Try "Off".  Also make sure you are set for snap-to, not snap-by.   And be sure you are left clicking near right edge of the note.

If no help, try giving a little clearer description of what you want to do and exactly what you are doing.  Did this used to work for you?
