Piano Roll View (chase view?) - view stop chasing after a group of notes is quantized

Pressing Shift-Scroll Lock enables setting of PRV to scroll along the time line or not.
 
However after enabling it and later stopping to quantize some notes, it loses it's setting the next time playback is started.
 
Can anyone reproduce this ? Is this intended (seems not to me).

    With more observation :-
     
    After notes are quantized, I click on the empty area to de-select the notes - and this is when the view stopped chasing (when you press playback now).
     
    Stopping and starting it - the scrolling is back to normal.

    Scroll Lock by itself will stop the now time from Scrolling
     
    I'm wondering if Shift & Scroll Lock just enables it while you've got the Shift key held down.
